Biography
Kellan's grandfather came to the United States as a teenager, seeking opportunity in the land of bounty and wealth. What started as a small farm became a large, prospering horse ranch; Kellan's parents continued to run and maintain the ranch and board horses for wealthy owners. The business is thriving and provides for all of the family's needs. As a child, Kellan always seemed to regard himself a little differently than others; he treated his friendships with intense priority and was often in trouble at school for acting out and drawing attention to himself.
The troubles worsened until Kellan got into acting and theatre work in high school. He was a sort of "diva"
among the thespians, valuing his own acting ability higher than those around him. His behaviour was
promiscuous as his attitude toward others was often blatantly flirtatious--a charm that combined with his
good looks to create dynamite and often risque relationships with friends and mentors.
Kellan balked at the idea of working on his parents' ranch, saying instead that he wanted to go to New York
to work on Broadway. He made the attempt and landed a small part in a show. His sense of self-worth and
inappropriately lewd behaviour, however, sent him straight back to Connecticut--and to the front doors
of Cherry Hollow.
